John Jay High School Theatre Workshop Presents Night of One-Act Plays

At 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29 and Friday, April 30, a collection of six one-act plays, directed by students who are currently enrolled in one of the Acting II or III classes, will be performed at the theatre at John Jay High School.Each student takes the knowledge and the experience gained from the performing arts department and applies it to the play that he or she has selected, collaborating with fellow students, actors and stage crew alike, to create a theatre experience that will resonate with the audience. The directors are Josh Buckwald, Annie Shiel, Josie Felt, Matt Surdej, Lindsay Goldbrum, and Bee Lindley. The performances are free and open to the public to enjoy.
