Fewer Metered Parking Spots This Week
Metered and permit parking will be reduced in Lot 3 by 50 percent each day.
1. Paving reduces number of metered spots
If you're planning on a day trip into Manhattan this week, be aware that paving and striping will reduce the number of available spots in Lot 3. The project will be done in phases from August 27 – August 31, resulting in at least a 50 percent reduction of metered and permit parking spaces each day, according to the town's website:
All metered parking is first come, first served. All metered parking is first come, first served. Twenty additional metered parking spaces only become available after 10am in Lot 1, 2 Jay Street. Only Lot 3 annual permit holders will be able to use Lot 2, 190 Katonah Avenue, permit parking as overflow parking during the repaving project. Overnight parking from August 26 – August 31 is discouraged as it may result in your car being towed.
