Forecast Storms Trigger Hudson Valley Hazardous Weather Outlook: NWS
The risk of severe thunderstorms late today into this evening brings the threat of damaging winds, with large hail.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY —The National Weather Service has declared a Hazardous Weather Outlook for most of the Hudson Valley with the chance of severe storms beginning this evening.
The outlook includes most of the Hudson Valley, Long Island, Connecticut and parts of New Jersey.
Counties that will see at least a slight chance of severe storms include: Northern Fairfield-Southern Fairfield-Western Passaic-Eastern Passaic-Hudson-Western Bergen-Eastern Bergen-Western Essex-Eastern Essex-Western Union-Eastern Union-Orange-Putnam-Rockland-Northern Westchester-Southern Westchester-New York (Manhattan)-Bronx-Richmond (Staten Island)-Northwest Suffolk-Northern Queens and Northern Nassau.

An air quality alert also remains in effect for most of the Hudson Valley until 11 p.m.
