Friedlander Children Honored in Memorial Day Races
The Forever Molly & Gregory Fund announced it will be the sponsored charity at the 36th Annual South Salem Memorial Day Races and Fair.

The annual Memorial Day Races held in South Salem will this year benefit the foundation set up in memory of Molly and Gregory Friedlander.
The two children both participated in the race in the past, which led the race organizers and foundation leaders to agree it was a good match, the Lewisboro Ledger reported this week. Ten percent of all registration proceeds will go toward the fund, according to the story.

Jodi Solomon, of New York City, and Lisa Cohen of South Salem founded the charitable organization to support the pursuits closest to Amy, Molly and Gregory's hearts in the areas of academic, artistic and athletic achievement, Solomon said at the time the website was launched.
administers the fund and award grants to applicants within the Katonah-Lewisboro community to support programs or purchase equipment, supplies and services.

Individuals or teams can set up a fundraising page for the race, here.
Participants have an array of options: a 10K, a 5K, a combined 10K and 5K challenge, a health walk around Lake Truesdale, a 1-mile fun run and Pee Wee races for ages 2-8.
The races will be followed by a parade and country fair with crafts booths, baked goods and games for the kids. For more information on the fair, visit the South Salem Presbyterian Church website.
