Nat Mundy, the Bedford native who co-founded and serves as vice president of Grand Prix New York in Mount Kisco, was recently honored as a "Rising Star" by the Business Council of Westchester for his leadership and entrepreneurial achievements. The registration deadline is June 30 for The Children’s Environmental Literacy Foundation (CELF) summer institute, and some full and partial scholarships are available. And you know who you are! This summer, local comedy producers are searching for the area’s funniest people to take part in a comedy contest for cash prizes, comedy bookings, gift certificates to area businesses and the title of “Lower Hud’s Funniest Person.” Residents must register no later than July 5th.
4. Parking permit renewals due
Picked this information up from the Town of Bedford website: The deadline for returning resident parking applications is Wednesday June 15th. Late submission will result in loss of current lot assignment and loss of rank on the resident wait list. Business Parking Permits are issued on a first come, first served basis. Lot 5 in Bedford Hills is already sold out and a wait list has been created for that lot. Business permits are still available in Katonah and Bedford Village. 5. Summer concerts are coming!
