1. Local seniors graduate from high school

High school seniors cap off four years today in graduation ceremonies. At 1 p.m. John Jay High School students walk across the stage at Caramoor, and at 6 p.m. it's Fox Lane's turn. Check back with Patch on Thursday for full graduation coverage.

The Business Council of Westchester is co-hosting a “Business After Business” event with the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce today starting at 5 p.m. at The Mansion at Colonial Terrace (119 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY). Here are some of the items you can bid on:  a cooking class and sit-down dinner at Seema Boesky's Northwind estate in Mt. Kisco; 7 Nights at an English Country Estate;  6 hours of recording time at Sweatshop Studios/Katonah;  a round of Golf at Waccabuc Country Club with Bill Lauder; behind-the-scenes at the Westminster Dog Show;  trips to Killington, Vail, Martha's Vineyard, Belize and Antigua. All purchases support land preservation.

4. Free HIV testing in Westchester

According to the county health department, outside of New York City, Westchester has the most people living with HIV and AIDS of any other county in New York State. A new state regulation now requires that people ages  13 to 64, and other ages as indicated, be offered voluntary HIV testing as a routine part of health care at hospitals and in primary care settings. In observance of National HIV Testing Day on June 27th, the Westchester County Department of Health in collaboration with the Westchester Knows Task Force and Project WAVE agencies will offer free Rapid HIV testing. 5. Hold a bird in your hand

A bird banding workshop sponsored by Bedford Audubon starts at 9 a.m. According to the society, this is a unique opportunity to visit a bird banding station, hold a bird in your hand, and see for yourself how good science is conducted. for more information.
