Holiday Weather, What's Open and Closed
Storms could affect your holiday plans today.

1. Local, state government offices closed today, groceries, gas open
The Town of Bedford and New York state offices are closed for the July 4 holiday. Federal offices, including post office branches, are also closed today. Need last minute supplies for a backyard barbecue? Local supermarkets, including the A&P in Katonah and Bedford and DeCicco's in Cross River, are open.

There may be some thunder and lighting to go with the The National Weather Service forecasts scattered showers and thunderstorms before 10 a.m., then scattered showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Temperatures are expected to climb into the mid 90s. There's a 30 percent chance for more scattered showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m.
