This afternoon, kids in sixth grade and older can join the kickoff for the Young Adult Summer Reading Game with Global Jeopardy. Play on teams for the top prize by answering questions about topics from around the world, from languages to geography to historical figures. Prizes, snacks, and summer reading sign-up starts at 3:30 p.m.
4. Meet Jennifer Grant, Cary Grant's daughter
Tonight at 7:30 p.m. the film An Affair to Remember, starring Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr, will be screened at Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, followed by a Q &A with Cary Grant’s only child, Jennifer Grant. She has written a memoir, Good Stuff: A Reminiscence of My Father, Cary Grant, and will discuss her famous Dad with Janet Maslin. .
