1. Plane crash updates

For those of you just checking in with Patch this morning, we posted several updates over the weekend about the Manhattan family who were killed in Westchester Saturday including who stated that the debris—while located within a few hundred feet of the Kensico resevoir—does not impact the water supply.

3. Global Jeopardy at the Bedford Free Library

This afternoon, kids in sixth grade and older can join the kickoff for the Young Adult Summer Reading Game with Global Jeopardy. Play on teams for the top prize by answering questions about topics from around the world, from languages to geography to historical figures. Prizes, snacks, and summer reading sign-up starts at 3:30 p.m.

4. Meet Jennifer Grant, Cary Grant's daughter

Tonight at 7:30 p.m. the film An Affair to Remember, starring Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr, will be screened at Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, followed by a Q &A with Cary Grant’s only child, Jennifer Grant. She has written a memoir, Good Stuff: A Reminiscence of My Father, Cary Grant, and will discuss her famous Dad with Janet Maslin. .

5. Half-school days: what to do with the kids?
