K-L Community Plans Protest, Town Readies for Clean Up Days

1. Some in Katonah Lewisboro community to rally Tuesday; Kreutzer to visit district

The news of the school board's as superintedent continues to send ripples through the community. Members of education unions, concerned parents and students are organizing a rally to be held just prior to the meeting at which Kreutzer is to be appointed. In response, the at which Kreutzer will present his vision for the district. We'll have more on that story before Tuesday's meeting.

2. School is open in Bedford

While Katonah-Lewisboro kids get one more day off, in the Bedford Central district, this is a snow make-up day and school is in session.

3. Katie Davis to read her new book in Bedford Hills

If you liked learning more about , who lives in Bedford Hills, now you can bring the kids to meet her in person. She'll read her new story, Little Chicken's Big Day, Wed. May 4 at 4:30 p.m.

5. Prepare for town clean-up days

Coming this week, it's Bedford clean-up days. The hours for residents begin Thursday at the Crusher Road Highway Facility off Route 22, just North of Route 172, in Bedford Village at these times: Thursday, April 28th from 7:30 - 3:00;
Friday, April 29th from 7:30 - 3:00 and Saturday, April 30th from 7:30 - 4:30. Visit the town's website for more information.
