The town meeting schedule is light this week, leading up to the holiday weekend. The planning board meets Tuesday night at 8 p.m. at town hall and the tree advisory board gathers at 7 p.m. at the Bedford Community House. Neither the Bedford Central nor the Katonah Lewisboro school board will be meeting this week.

4. KMA wins design award
The Katonah Museum of Art announced Friday that it has received a 2012 American Inhouse Design Award for their 2010-2011 Annual Report from Graphic Design USA. The American Inhouse Design Awards is the original and biggest showcase for outstanding work by in-house designers. Naomi Leiseroff, the KMA’s Learning Center Curator and Graphic Designer created the winning design. The award was created to recognize in-house designers for their talent, the special challenges they face, and for their contributions to their business institutions. This year there were over 4,000 entries to the competition from across the country.
