Det. Whalen from the BPD Emergency Service Unit responded in the UTV teamed up with three Westchester County Police Department ESU members and a Pound Ridge Fire Chief before entering the trails. After about an hour of searching, they arrived at a section of woods that they could no longer traverse in the UTV and continued on foot.

Callouts were made for the missing person and eventually his voice could be heard off in the distance. They continued further into the woods on foot, where they were able to locate the missing male. He was transported to an awaiting ambulance on the UTV where he was evaluated by EMS but in good condition, according to police officials.
