MTA: Larceny Suspect Chase Leads to Train Delays
Police took him into custody following a theft at Kohl's in Bedford Hills.

Three Harlem Line trains on Metro-North Railroad were delayed Monday afternoon because of local police activity, officials say.
Bedford Police requested a block on both tracks between Green Lane crossing and the Mount Kisco Station, just before 4 p.m., "while they chased a shoplifting suspect," according to Marjorie Anders, MTA spokesperson. The man is accused of stealing items from Kohl's Department Store in Bedford Hills.
"He was spotted at Preston Way, in a park and on the track," Anders said. "He was caught and then they were searching for the items that he jettisoned as he ran, which caused three trains to be delayed up to 45 minutes."
