Andrew Saul was stopped by Department of Environmental Protection Police after he ignored the no trespassing signs.
A high-ranking MTA official was recently detained by the Department of Environmental Protection police after he rode his bike across the Cross River Reservoir Dam, ignoring posted "no trespassing" signs, reports CBSLocal.
Andrew Saul, chairman of the MTA finance committee, flashed his MTA police ID and told DEP police he was a civilian commissioner. After Saul refused to stop, police physically restrained him and issued a warning. Saul, unhappy with the treatment, complained to Bedford police, according to the story.
