A new playground at Bedford Village Memorial Park opened last Thursday, Bedford town officials announced to the community.
Features of the new space include a Mega Tower the 5 to 12-year-old section, a play structure for 2 to 5-year-old kids, a swing set with eight seats, benches and a pathway for pedestrians.
The work was funded through a mix of town support and from the Chowder and Marching Club donating, according to the announcement.
A celebration for the new playground will be held on Nov. 16, which will be a chance to thank the Chowder and Marching Club, the town announced.
