North Salem Man Threatened Victim With Knife In Front Of Child: NYSP

He was charged with menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and acting in a manner to injure a child in the domestic incident.

NORTH SALEM, NY — New York State Police in Somers say they arrested a North Salem man on Tuesday for domestic abuse with a child present.

At 7:05 a.m., on Tuesday, troopers responded to a home in North Salem after a report of a domestic dispute involving a knife.

Once on the scene, officers determined that 33-year-old Brendan H. Clarke threatened a person with a knife during the dispute, in the presence of a child.

Clarke was charged with misdemeanor menacing, misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon and misdemeanor acting in a manner to injure a child less than 17.

He was arraigned before the Town of North Salem Court and released on his own recognizance.
