The town of Bedford announced Friday that the lottery for nonresident parking permits for Lot 3 is now open.
The annual parking permits are valid July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014.
To participate in the lottery, send an email with "NONRESIDENT PERMIT LOTTERY ENTRY" in the subject line to parking@bedfordny.gov. The lottery will be held on Tuesday, June 18, and winners will be notified via email.
The deadline for resident parking permit renewals was Friday. Late applicants will lose their preferred lot and/or rank on the wait list, according to the town's website. Business parking permits are first come, first served.
