Deborah Healy-Seidlitz Dies After Being Struck by Car
The 49-year-old Pound Ridge resident was struck and killed by a car Friday night in Bedford.
Deborah Healy-Seidlitz, a 49-year-old Pound Ridge resident, was struck and killed by a car Friday night in Bedford.
Healy-Seidlitz was the mother of two children in the Katonah Lewisboro schools and was married to Richard Seidlitz.
The accident occurred just before 8 p.m. near Truck, a restaurant on Old Post Road in Bedford, according to Assistant Fire Chief Peter Aquilino from the Bedford Fire Department. The Bedford police department and Westchester Emergency Services paramedics also responded to the scene.

Fire officials took Healy-Seidlitz was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital shortly after 8 p.m., where she died as a result of her injuries.
Police had closed a section of the restaurant's parking lot while investigators inspected a damaged car, according to reports.

Traffic was temporarily diverted from the area.
Police have not released any further details on the accident.
