A 17-year-old girl encountered a suspicious man in North Salem on Thursday, according to New York State Police.
The girl was reportedly on Bloomer Road and near its intersection with June Road when a "dark colored" sedan pulled up to her. A man came out of the vehicle, police said, approached her and "insisted" that she go with him to the vehicle. The girl refused and and left, police said. The man is described as being 5 feet and seven inches, having a medium-brown complexion a dark business suit, black hair and a medium build.
