Two men are facing town ordinance violations for soliciting without permits in Bedford earlier this month, officials say.
A resident of Gordon Avenue reported to police that the "well-dressed" pair had knocked on his door at about 7 p.m. May 11. Authorities located the males. They admitted to peddling.
Both men, who identified themselves as "door-to-door salesmen," are 43 years old. One is from Chicago and the other Detroit. Each posted $50 bail.
