The summer concert series continues with this program highlighting the properties of light and sound. The audience will see how light bends and changes direction—and of course, there will be dancing. More on this series here.

4. Stepping Stones parking renovation discussed

Longtime neighbors led recently at a town board meeting to the parking lot proposed by Stepping Stones Foundation in Katonah. Foundation representatives appeared at last night's planning board meeting to give details on the and diffuse any notions of changing operations at the site, a mecca for recovering alcoholics. We'll have a full report later today on that, plus other agenda items.

5. Katonah sidewalk sales are coming

You'll want to set some time aside this weekend for the Katonah Sidewalk Sales. Stores have a special opening time of 9:30 a.m. and will offer bargains outside (weather permitting) and in. The sales continue throughout the weekend, but trust us when we say the good stuff goes first!
