Racing Camp, Moving Up Days and Farmer's Markets

1. Racing camp registration
Grand Prix New York (GPNY) in Mount Kisco is now registering for its junior racing summer camps. The five-day camps are open to young racers from seven to 16 years of age and offer novice and advanced training, both of which include different levels of classroom discussion and professional karting instruction. Graduates are approved to drive in GPNY’s professional leagues and are also entitled to access the facility’s advanced karting track during future visits. Click here for pricing and scheduling.

5. Fifth graders in the Bedford Central School District's five elementary schools and Katonah Lewisboro's four elementary schools will have their "moving up" events to celebrate heading to middle school next year. Congratulations, fifth graders!

4. Summer Reading kickoff in Katonah
It may rain this afternoon, and the Katonah Village Library has a great way to beat the boredom. The summer reading game, "One World Many Stories" launches this afternoon, with Magic Jim for ages 5 and up. It starts at 3 p.m. Call 232-1233 for more information.
5. National Fresh Fruit and Vegetables month
