Roberts Will Not Run for Re-Election

Although she loves her job, she believes it's 'time for someone new.'

After just about 10 years as supervisor for the Town of Bedford, Lee Roberts is stepping down.

Currently in her fifth term, she does not plan to run in the November elections.

Roberts was elected in 1993 as a councilwoman, a position she held for a decade. She acted as deputy supervisor for five years, and was appointed supervisor in August 2003.
