Voted “Favorite Parent Band” in Westchester Magazine in 2009, the popular five-piece band “ASK YOUR MOM” comes to the Rock for the Rent event to benefit Bedford Community Theatre on Saturday, June 4, 2011, from 7:00 to 11:00 pm at the Bedford Hills Community House. Along with these Bedford, New York’s “40-something Dads” playing classic rock, there will be entertainment by Bedford Community Theatre alumni. Appetizers, desserts, wine and beer will be served.

4. Wine Tasting to benefit the Lewisboro Library
The Lewisboro Library’s annual wine tasting benefit to 'Help Keep the Library Liquid' is tomorrow. The event will be held at the stunning home of Tony award-winning Broadway producers Fran and Barry Weissler (it's gorgeous, we went last year!) Leading the festivities is local wine writer and speaker Tyler Colman, aka Dr. Vino. A silent auction and raffle will be part of the fun. Reservations are $50 per person. You may either register at the library, or by calling 763-2193. Wine for the tasting is being donated by the Cross River Wine Merchant, and catering is provided by the Daily Dish. All proceeds will benefit the library’s annual operating budget.
