If you or anyone you know needs a refresher driving course, today in Ossining the AARP Driver Safety Program—the nation’s first and largest course for drivers over 50—is being offered, 9am - 3pm. Certified volunteer instructor Neville Horne will cover the updated rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and solutions to common traffic dilemmas. Click for details.

4. Emergency Medical Services Week

Well, it ended on Saturday but we'd be remiss if we didn't send a shout-out now to all of the volunteers who provide excellent care to local residents 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. So, thank you to to all local fire department and ambulance corps members!

5. Historic Houses of Bedford tour

This Wednesday is the Bedford Village Historic House Tour. Five of the oldest houses in and around the Village Green will open their doors for our Walking House Tour from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $60 for Historical Society Members, $75 for non-members.
