School Board Reports, Seniors' Coffee and News You Can Use

It's 5 things you need to know Thursday.

1. School board report: The Bedford school board has had the last few meetings snowed out; last night they were finally able to meet. For a report on the major business and discussions, check back later today on Patch.

2. Civic club: The of Katonah welcomes the Hudson Belles vocal group to its at 11 a.m. The event will take place at the Memorial House at 71 Bedford Road in Katonah. If you can't make today's meeting, consider joining the organization, which is open to all area women—you don't need to be a resident of Katonah. All members are required to work two half-days a month at the Katonah Thrift Shop, which is operated by the club. For more information, call 232-4964.

4. Coffee for Seniors: If you know a senior citizen in town who might enjoy socializing with their peers, Bedford will honor senior adults in the community with a Valentine's Day theme. Coffee, bagels and danishes will be offered from 10 a.m. at the Bedford Hills Community House. Register by calling 914-666-7203.

5. K-L School budget presentation: The Katonah-Lewisboro school district administration will present the superintendent's proposed budget to the school board tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the high school library.
