1. Click It, or Ticket

New York State Police have announced they will be joining forces with local and county law enforcement officers statewide to ensure motorists are buckled up, day and night. The high visibility enforcement mobilization started Monday and will continue until June 5.

The NYSP will be conducting more than 100 checkpoints and dedicated enforcement patrols during the two-week period. During last year's two-week enforcement, troopers issued more than 22,000 tickets for safety restraint violations, more than 1,500 of which were for not buckling up children.

You know that week. Have you checked out the summer offerings at the Katonah Art Center? They have half-day camps that week (and all summer) that may be just perfect for your young ones (famous artists workshop) or older grade schoolers and teens (flash animation, cartooning).
