Snow Causes Slippery Roads, Early School Closures

A total accumulation of 1 - 3 inches is expected today.

Tuesday's snow has prompted an early dismissal in both Bedford Central and Katonah Lewisboro school districts and is causing some slippery road conditions for the morning commute.

An early accident on I-684 in Brewster caused stop and go traffic on the southbound side of the highway between I-84 and Route 138 in Goldens Bridge.

Bedford police have received a number of reports of slippery roads but no major accidents have been reported.
