End of Season Pool Hours

All residents are welcome at any one of the three town pools.

Weekdays:

• Kat and BH: 12-7
• BV: Closed

Weekends

• All Pools: 10-7 (EXCEPT Katonah will close at 5:30pm on 9/2)

Labor Day (Monday 9/4)

• All Pools: 10-5

Since many lifeguards have returned to college, Recreation and Parks is working to keep pools open with required staffing. The weekday solution has been to reassign available staff to enable the two larger capacity and higher-attendance pools, Bedford Hills and Katonah, to remain open weekdays and keep all three pools open on weekends and Labor Day. If in the coming week adequate staff is not available, pool closures could occur. We are already aware that on Saturday, September 2, the Katonah pool will close at 5:30pm due to a staff shortage that evening.

If a pool is required to close, an email will be sent to pool members and the news will be posted on Recreation and Parks social media page.

Also, thank you, pool goers, for complying with Westchester County law that prohibits any child under the age of 14 to be at the pool without a parent or guardian. After drownings of unsupervised minors in Westchester County, the County has taken action to protect children and the Department of Health has increased awareness and enforcement.
