State Police: Man Stopped for Driving 95 mph on 684 Was Drunk

State police arrested a Mahopac man on April 8 after allegedly observing him driving at 95 miles per hour on I-684 in Bedford, a 65 mph zone.
At 3:36 a.m. state troopers stopped Dominic Foley, 20, for speeding. Police say their investigation revealed Foley was intoxicated; chemical tests resulted in .10 percent BAC. Foley was issued traffic tickets and scheduled for a court appearance in the town of Bedford for April 26 at 7 p.m.

State police arrested a Danbury man on April 7 at 10:10 p.m. after stopping him on I-684 for speeding. Police said their investigation revealed Eric Gutierrez, 31, to be intoxicated with a BAC of .09 percent. Because Gutierrez had three children under the age of 15 in the car at the time of his arrest, the DWI was elevated to a felony level/Leandra's Law. He was also charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a car and driving with a suspended license.

Gutierrez was arraigned in the Town of Somers Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lewisboro Court Monday night at 7 p.m.
