Summer Concerts, Keep the Kids Moving, Lions Club Meets

It's 5 things you need to know Wednesday.

1. Swing to Sinatra

The Bedford Recreation and Parks summer concert series continues tonight with "Sinatra and Swing," with the Peter Salomon Orchestra. The show starts at 7 p.m. at the Bedford Village Memorial Park. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled. It's free—pack a picnic and enjoy.

3. Storytime at the pool

Head to the Bedford Village Pool for storytime at the kiddie pool this July every Wednesday at 2:30. It's for ages 3 to 5, for details. A pool pass is required for entry.

4. Implications of gay marriage law

5. Lions Club meets

The Bedford Hills Lions Club meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. Tonight's meeting is at 7 p.m. at the Bedford Hills Community House. The Lions Club of Bedford Hills was founded in 1939 to help support the local community and does so by supporting such organizations and activities as the Bedford Hills Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, the Bedford Hills Library, the Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps and local student scholarships.
