Compost Facility Open, Voter Registration on Saturday
And here's one way to make sure you get a Mother's Day gift.

1. Voter registration
Katonah Lewisboro schools will hold a voter registration Saturday, May 5, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the District Office,
Members of the community will be able to register to vote with the School District, drop off absentee ballots and obtain absentee ballot applications.

The Beaver Dam Compost Facility is now open for residents to dispose of recyclable wood waste (logs and branches up to 6” diameter, brush, and leaves), as well as pick up wood mulch and leaf compost. This new
service is free to residents between 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. Mon. - Fri. The facility, owned and operated by Westwook Organic Recylcing, is located on Beaver Dam Road north of Harris Road, adjacent to the Bedford Dog Park. Questions? Contact the Bedford Department of Public Works at 666-7669.

4. Last chance to see "Collected Stories"
This weekend you can catch the last performances of The Pound Ridge Theatre company's written by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies, directed by Maryann Arcoleo-Koltun and featuring Karen Pope-Olshansky and Tammy Mora. What's it about? A professor of English and writing mentors and befriends her ambitious student over the course of six years, and the two complex, independent women find that their roles begin to overlap and change as the younger writer experiences success, according to PRTC.
5. Here's one way to ensure you get a Mother's Day gift
Bring your child to Target Picture Story Saturdays, "Spring Joy at the KMA" at the tomorrow, at 10:30 a.m. Children of all ages and family members are invited to listen to stories, followed by a hands-on art activity in the Learning Center—and on Saturday it's a gift for Mother's Day. Tomorrow's story hour features Rebecca Donofrio, a indergarten teacher in North Salem, who will share Springtime stories followed by craft-making for Mom.
