Video: John Jay High School Class of 2011 Graduation

The John Jay Class of 2011 graduation ceremonies took place Wednesday at the Caramoor Center for the Arts in Katonah. Under the tented Venetian Theater, the graduates, families, school officials and guests gathered for speeches and the presentation of diplomas.

Kelsey Beaty and Sophie Hasson, co-presidents of the Class of 2011, presented the "key of knowledge" to the incoming seniors, Kendall Coniaris and Lauren Murray. Musical performances by the Rolling Tones and the Noteables, the school's a capella performance groups, punctuated speeches by valedictorian Jeremy Zitomer and salutatorian, William Dingee. The keynote was delivered by Jason Mahlke, a teacher at the high school, and the Julia Stein provided the senior class address.

Principal Ellen Doherty recognized the Class of 2011, followed by school board president, Michael Gordon, officially declaring the seniors as graduates of John Jay High School.
