Weekend Tree Lightings Set Bedford Aglow [Photos, Video]
Tree and menorah lightings took place in town each night this weekend; Lewisboro's takes place tonight at 6:30 p.m.
Hot chocolate, cookies, friends, neighbors and song—these were the main ingredients at each of the weekend tree lightings held in Bedford and its three hamlets.
On Friday night, the Bedford Village Business Association and Bedford Village Lions club organized festivities around the village green. Bedford Hills followed on Saturday, with Santa Clause arriving to greet carolers and children around Depot Plaza.
Katonah residents showed up in droves Sunday night, gathering around St. Luke's Church, hearing students from John Jay sing traditional Christmas carols after Cantor Shira Adler lit the menorah and led students in a rousing rendition of "I have a little dreidl."
