Wells Fargo Employee Charged With Fraud

An employee of in Katonah was arrested after crediting his own account with bank funds using company computers, Bedford police said.
Stephen Michael Wood, 28, of Hopewell Junction, allegedly credited his personal bank account with $8,6885 over a period of several months. He was arrested on June 13 and charged with third degree grand larceny and was released on $2,500 bail pending his next appearance in town court.
Armonk man charged with DWI in Bedford
Rigoberto Ixcoy Veliz, 40, was arrested on June 14 after backing his car into another at the A-Plus Mini Mart on Bedford Road.

Officers responded to a report of a two-car accident at 12:14 a.m. The driver of the car hit by Veliz's car told police he thought Veliz was drunk. Police administered field sobriety tests, which Veliz failed. He was arrested and brought to police headquarters.
Veliz was charged with with DWI over .08 BAC, unsafe backing up of a car and unlicensed driving. He was released on $150 bail pending a return to town court.

Bedford Hills youth carged with criminal mischief
Bedford police arrested an 18-year-old female on June 12 who allegedly threw a rock and damaged a car parked on Norm Avenue.
The youth was apparently arguing with an individual she knew and smashed a window on the car. She was charged with fourth degree criminal mischief with intent to damage property and released on $100 bail.
