Bellmore Kindergarteners Visit Local Firehouse, Learning Fire Safety Tips
Students, and their parents, met with local firefighters on a school trip.

BELLMORE, NY — Kindergarten classes at Reinhard Early Childhood Center visited local firefighters at the Bellmore Firehouse throughout October to learn fire safety tips during Fire Prevention Month.
Students, joined by their parents, from Mrs. Yandolino's class walked the short way from Reinhard to the firehouse on Thursday.
Former Chief Tom Stoerger taught fire safety tips, including staying low to the ground when there is smoke, checking a door to see if it's hot, and listening to a fire alarm.
