Bellmore School Supply Drive To Assist Needy Students

Assemblyman Dave McDonough's drive runs until Sept. 5.

BELLMORE, NY — It's time to start thinking about heading back to school. Assemblyman Dave McDonough is holding his annual school supply drive for children in need.

Among the items sought include such backpack staples as:

Pencils
Pens
Crayons
Erasers
Scissors
Notebooks
Three-ring binders

Supplies can be dropped off at McDonough's district office until Sept. 5, Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"I know that by assisting needy families, we can become stronger as a community and feel proud we are helping these students succeed," McDonough said.
