Circle of Hope to Host First Annual Community Seminar and Mammography Van
The event will take place in Merrick on Tuesday.

The Circle of Hope of Bellmore, Merrick and Wantagh will host its first Annual Community Seminar and Mammography Van in Merrick on Tuesday.
The van will arrive at 2174 Hewlett Ave. in Merrick at 8:30 a.m. and the organization's community health seminar will take place at 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The mammograms are no-cost to women over 40 without insurance. Women with insurance will have their insurance company billed and will be billed for a copay.
Those with health insurance, must bring a prescription for the mammogram from a physician and are required to show photo ID at the time of the service. If a patient had a mammogram through the Nassau Health Care Corp., they must bring prior films to the appointment.

Circle of Hope of Merrick, Bellmore and Wantagh provides financial, emotional and educational support to breast cancer patients and their families. It is in partnership with Sharsheret, a national nonprofit that supports young Jewish women and their families who are facing breast cancer and ovarian cancer.
