Designated Driver in Crash That Critically Injured LI Man Dies
Michael Sot, 20, has died from his injuries. A Long Island man remains in critical condition. The driver of the other car faces new charges.

A 20-year-old college student has died from his injuries suffered in a head-on crash near a New Jersey college early Sunday.
Michael Sot, of Clark, N.J., died from his injuries on Tuesday after he and seven other people were involved in a head-on two-car crash this weekend, police said. One friend said Sot was the designated driver for one of the cars.
A charge of vehicular homicide has been added against David Lamar, 22, of West Windsor, N.J, according Mercer County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Casey A. DeBlasio.

Anthony Galante, of North Bellmore, was among the eight people injured in the crash, which occurred at 2:07 a.m. on Pennington Road in Ewing Township near the campus of The College of New Jersey, where Galante and four others hurt in the crash are students.
"Prayers are very much needed for Anthony,"Geri Licurse wrote Tuesday on a GoFundMe page she set up to raise money for Galante's family. "He continues to be in critical condition. His serious injuries are causing multiple complications that the medical staff are trying to work through. Thank you all so much."
