A GoFundMe for his grieving family was created by Mierto Mannino of North Bellmore.
"Our community is devastated," Mannino wrote on the GoFundMe page. "I would like to help, and so many families in our wonderful community want to do the same. So, I reached out to Mepham High School, and they had an influx of phone calls from people wanting to help Jayden’s family."
