JFK Cheerleaders to Host Charity Car Wash Saturday

The Kennedy High School Cheerleading Team will host its annual Charity Car Wash at Applebee's on Saturday.

Proceeds of the event will go toward the team's choreography, cheer signs and clothing for upcoming events.

"The JFK cheerleaders work really hard to fundraise for the necessary items that will help benefit the team," Coach Kelly Wehle said.  "We always say, 'success comes to those who are willing to work for it' and the JFK cheerleaders are always willing to go the extra mile."

The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Applebee's at 2660 Sunrise Highway.
