McDonough Blood Drive, Oklahoma Fundraiser Coming This Week

1. Circle of Hope Mammography Van: Circle of Hope's Mammography Van will be on Hewlett Avenue in Merrick on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. State-of-the-art equipment will be used and operated by the Nassau Health Care Corporation's staff. The mammograms are no-cost to women over 40 without insurance. Appointments in advance are required. To schedule an appointment call the Circle of Hope Merrick/Bellmore/Wantagh office at (516) 833-3057.

2. Adult Movie-Django Unchained: The North Bellmore Public Library will be showing "Django Unchained" on Wednesday at 1:45 p.m.

3. Blood Drive Hosted by Assemblyman Dave McDonough: Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R,C,I-Merrick) will host a blood drive in support of Long Island Blood Services on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion Post 1749 at 1298 Newbridge Road in North Bellmore.

4.Oklahoma Fundraiser Family Fun BBQ: The Knights of Columbus will host a barbecue to raise funds for the victims of the Oklahoma tornado on Sunday at 1 p.m.
