NORTH BELLMORE, NY — The North Bellmore School District is accepting applications for its universal pre-kindergarten program in the 2025-2026 school year.
A lottery will take place to ensure spots in the program.
Children who will be 4 years old by Dec. 1, 2025, and eligible for kindergarten in Sept. 2026,may participate in the lottery.

Applications can be found on the district's website and can be picked up at each elementary school building from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The district anticipates hosting mostly full-day programs, with limited half-day placements. The half-day program is offered two and a half hours per day, five days a week,
