School Begins, National Library Card Month

1. School Begins: Bellmore and North Bellmore schools will open on Tuesday.

2. National Library Card Month: September is National Library Month! National Library Card Month is the time when the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country remind parents and caregivers that a library card is the best card a person can have. 

3. Taxpayer Assistance Program: Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg, D-Merrick, will present a taxpayer assistance  program at Merrick Public Library on Tuesday. 

4. 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Fuel The Soul: Fuel the Soul will offer a 200-hour yoga teacher training starting on Saturday.
