Serious Crash Cleared From Wantagh Parkway
It happened halted traffic near the exit for the Southern State Parkway for a couple of hours.
HEMPSTEAD, NY — Tough start to the week for drivers. There was a serious crash on the Wantagh Parkway. All lanes were blocked northbound between Exit W5W (Sunrise Highway) and Exit W4W (Southern State Parkway), according to 511ny.org.
The highway was closed in that vicinity for more than two hours starting at 8 a.m.
