Senior ID Program, Bake Sale Fundraiser Slated for This Week

1. Senator Fuschillo Free Senior ID Program: Senator Charles Fuschillo and County Executive Ed Mangano will host a free senior ID program at the North Bellmore Public Library on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Residents ages 65 and up are encouraged to attend. 

2. Meet Elmo In Person:  Bring out the kiddies! Elmo will be making a special appearance at Bellmore Memorial Library on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Registration is required. 

3. Taxpayer Assistance Program: Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg, D-Merrick, presents a free taxpayer assistance program on Thursday at 1 p.m.

4. Crafts & Bake Sale Boutique Fundraiser: The fundraiser has everything--baked goods, hand-made jewelry, boutique clothes and live music. It will benefit SeriousFun Children's Network, a charity organization founded by Paul Newman that funds, builds, and staffs camps for terminally ill children who attend for free. The event will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m.
