VIDEO: Save Seaford Sports Car Wash Fundraiser in Bellmore

Save Seaford Sports, an organization dedicated to raising the $141,000 needed to restore the Seaford Middle School winter and spring athletic seasons after they were cut from the budget, held a car wash fundraiser this past Sunday at Applebee's in Bellmore. 

The car wash fundraiser is one of a series of benefit events Save Seaford Sports has scheduled for August and September. The group previously held bowling and cooking fundraisers and Nancy's Dance Factory in Levittown will be holding zumba classes on Aug. 24 and Aug. 31 with a percentage of proceeds going toward Save Seaford Sports. A community garage sale is also scheduled for this Saturday on 2291 Jackson Ave in Seaford with all proceeds going toward Save Seaford Sports.
