Dogs Rescued From House Fire On Long Island: Video
Firefighters rescued 2 large dogs that were trapped in a burning home on Long Island on Friday.
CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — Firefighters rescued two dogs from a house fire that ripped through a Long Island home on Friday.
Central Islip Fire Department crews responded to a fire that destroyed a home at 59 Peters Boulevard in Central Islip on Friday evening around 6 p.m., police said.
Firefighters entered through the front of the home, found the two large dogs, and carried them outside to safety as seen in the video below.

Police said arson squad detectives are investigating the blaze and no injuries were reported.
