CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — Firefighters extinguished flames that broke out in a Long Island home on Wednesday, Suffolk County police told Patch.

Police said that around 4:10 p.m., they received a call reporting a fire at a home located at 58 Brightside Ave. in Central Islip.

No injuries reported, police said.

The Suffolk County Arson Squad responded to the scene and is investigating.

Patch reached out to the Central Islip Fire Department, which was not immediately available for comment.
