Halloween Stabbing Hospitalizes Man On Long Island: Police

A man was stabbed by a person wearing a mask while sitting in his car on Halloween in Central Islip, police say.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — A man was stabbed on Halloween in Central Islip, Suffolk County police said.

A man was sitting in the driver’s seat of his vehicle while parked outside of a mental health facility on Brightside Ave. when a man wearing a Halloween mask walked up to the vehicle and stabbed the victim with a knife around 4:10 p.m., police said.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
