Islip Donates To LI Hospitals To Support Heart Health Research

The town of Islip donated fundraiser proceeds of a fundraiser to local hospitals to support American Heart Health Month in February.

ISLIP, NY — Town of Islip employees did their part to support American Heart Health Month in February.

Islip officials said town employees donated money that was presented to representatives from South Shore University Hospital and Good Samaritan University Hospital, who each received a $225 check for heart health research.

"Each year Town employees generously donate during February, American Heart Health Month. We are proud support our local area hospitals in their research to offer world-class care right here in the Town of Islip," Carpenter said.
